Record high temperatures reached in St. Lawrence County Tuesday

Record-setting high temperatures were set in the North Country Tuesday, Feb. 27 as highs hit nearly 70 degrees.

It was 67 degrees in Potsdam and Massena with winds gusting near 30 mph as well.

Record-setting high temperatures were set in the North Country Tuesday, Feb. 27 as highs hit nearly 70 degrees.

It was 67 degrees in Potsdam and Massena with winds gusting near 30 mph as well.

Many North Country residents took advantage of the nice weather by going for walks with their dogs, doing yard work, and opening windows for some fresh air.

The high temperatures were recorded at Massena Richard Field, an official National Weather Service weather station. The previous high was 63 and took place in 2000.

Highs today will be around 65 and could break records again.
